My name is Priscilla Torres. I’m a Mexican-American woman originally from California, but have lived in the PNW since 2009. I got into dog training after bringing home a 10-week-old puppy named Lando, who needed a lot of help existing in the world. He struggled with a lot of anxiety, reactivity (to both dogs AND humans!), and had a lot of big feelings that came out in scary ways. Lando is now 6 years old, and although he’ll always have some things he’ll need help with, the transformation I’ve seen in him is what inspired me to help other people who are struggling with similar issues.

I didn’t expect to run into all the issues I did with Lando, and I know nobody brings a dog home hoping that their dog has behavior issues. When those issues arise, it can be overwhelming and emotional without knowing where to start. You want the best life for your dog and with your dog. I know this because I’ve been there, and I am truly passionate about helping you both learn the foundational skills and tools you need to thrive together.

Whether you’re needing help with current behavior issues or want to prepare and set your dog up for success, I’d be honored to work with both you and your pup to help your relationship and meet your training goals. I can help with wanting to learn how to better enrich your dog’s life, learn some new tricks, or work with you through behavior issues with a customized plan.

I’m a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Trainer, which ensures that I’m continuously furthering my education and knowledge about science-based training.
