I know nobody brings a dog home hoping that their dog has behavior issues. When those issues arise, it can be overwhelming and emotional without knowing where to start. You want the best life for your dog and with your dog. I know this because I’ve been there, and I am truly passionate about helping you both learn the foundational skills and tools you need to thrive together.

When I brought home a 10 week old puppy named Lando, I had no idea how the course of my life would change. It became very apparent early on that he had trouble functioning in the world, and a lot of big feelings that turned into reactivity (to dogs AND people!), resource guarding, and aggression.

Lando is now 5 years old and although he’ll always have some things he’ll need help with, the transformation I’ve seen in him is what inspired me to help other people who are struggling with similar issues. He now has the tools and foundations to feel more comfortable with the outside world, and our relationship has improved significantly because of the work we’ve done together.

The same is possible for you and your bud, and I’d be honored to work with you both to get there. Whether you’re wanting to learn how to better enrich your dogs life, learn some new tricks, or seek help with behavior issues - I’m happy to be a part of your journey.

About Me

Meet my Crew:

Lando is my sensitive, silly, sweet guy, who has a lot of feelings about the world. He’s my reason for becoming a trainer, and I’m forever grateful to him for all he’s taught me.

He’s a Cattle Dog/Malamute/ super mutt. His perfect day would be going on a long sniffari (sniffs are life), licking peanut butter until his heart is content, and doing zooms around the yard with his humans and brother.

Hank

Hank is my social butterfly who is always ready to party. We’ve learned so much together through the world of dog sports, obedience training, and learning how chronic pain can change and affect behavior. (He had an FHO as a puppy.)

His perfect day would be going for a swim, sun bathing, getting pets from any and every human, and eating a lot of snacks.
